Chief Innovation Officer at Voyce™ Presents Latest Advancements in Animal Health and Technology to Leading Medical Researchers

Albert J. Di Rienzo invited to speak to physicians, professors, and students at MIT about life science innovations

CHANTILLY, VA (July X, 2016) – i4C Innovations Inc., dba Voyce, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intersections Inc. (Nasdaq: INTX) and the creator of the Voyce Health and Wellness Management System™ and the Voyce Pro Wellness Monitoring Program™, is pleased to announce that the company’s Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Innovation Officer, Albert J. Di Rienzo, presented to leading medical researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and Brigham and Women's Hospital at MIT on June 17, 2016. His speech focused on strategic partnerships, veterinary industry data, and product research & innovation within the animal health and technology fields.

“I was honored to be invited to speak to such an esteemed group of researchers who wanted to learn more about the Voyce Pro Wellness Monitoring Program,” said Mr. Di Rienzo. “There is enormous growth potential within the pet care industry, with diagnostics being one of the categories that is developing more quickly. Academia, genetic testing, nutrition, and both human and animal pharma, are all impacted by innovations within the veterinary industry.”

Voyce Pro – designed specifically for veterinarians – enables remote observation of canine patients’ biometric data, including resting heart and respiratory rates, intensity of activity, quality of rest, calories burned, and more using the Voyce Health Monitor™. The data collected from a dog’s home environment has never before been available to veterinarians and is used to drive better patient health and practice outcomes. Currently, Voyce Pro is being used as an innovative tool for nutrition and pharmaceutical companies working together to improve the quality of health of companion animals.

“Voyce is leading the way in animal health technology and innovation,” continued Mr. Di Rienzo. “It’s our goal to partner with other top animal health organizations in order to change the way we care for pets – improving their quality of life and creating a more specialized, prevention-based approach with minimal interventions. We’re particularly excited about some new innovations to the monitor that we are planning to unveil in the near future.”

Mr. Di Rienzo has spent 32 years in the fields of academia, government, and industry. Prior to joining Voyce earlier this year, he held senior executive positions with the Forensic and National Security Sciences Institute at Syracuse University, RedSky, Blue Highway, National Biodefense Science Board, Welch Allyn, Phillips Medical Systems, Siemens Medical Systems, Honeywell/Sperry Aerospace, and General Dynamics.

Approximately 100 professors, students, and physicians attended the lecture to learn more about taking life science innovations from concept to translation, as well as the specific technology used with the Voyce Health and Wellness Management System and how it might benefit their individual disciplines.
